Hi there, I am a 34 year old blogger/freelance writer/avid cheese eater and mother. I started writing this blog as a way of coping with the insanity of raising a toddler/meglomaniac! In all seriousness I love my tiny lady but what hard work! Nobody really tells you how crazy it can get and I got tired of all the gooey, gushy stuff we often have to swallow as moms. Yes we love them, yes they are our world but guess what? We are still people underneath all the mom layers and we still secretly want to just lie on the couch watching Gilmore Girl reruns and eating chocolate. So this blog is for anyone who isn’t the ‘perfect’ mom and wants to know she isn’t the only one out there who gets a shock when somebody expects her to behave like a ‘proper’ grown-up!
